Staff at the Growing Tree

Highly Trained Teachers
The Growing Tree staff are required to meet the highest standards in education at the moment of hire. Educational growth continues for all staff in annual, required in-service workshops and classes that keep the energy and excitement high for your child. All staff members are trained in infant/child CPR, First Aid and SIDS (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome).

Admissions
Parents interested in enrollment are invited to call and schedule a center tour at your convenience. Waiting list applications are available online and can be emailed directly to susan.howard@wilmed.org.

The Waiting List
Applicants who cannot be placed immediately will be put on a waiting list. As slots are available, priority will go to currently enrolled children. If the slot cannot be filled with the existing population, the next applicant on the waiting list will be offered the space. Once a parent accepts a slot, the child is expected to begin using the space within two weeks. If this is impossible, parents may choose (after two weeks) to begin payment for the slot until it can be used; otherwise, the slot will be offered to the next child on the list.Unborn children may be placed on the waiting list before birth. If an opening becomes available and the child is still not born or is too young, the next child is offered the slot, but the first child remains in that spot on the list. A parent may always choose to pay for the spot until the child can use it, however.
